Go Apres Ski in Rotterdam Ahoy

Saturday March 17 2007 a Go Après Ski party takes place in the Rotterdam Ahoy. Tickets cost € 32,50. Between 21 h and 4 h, a number of Dutch artists will perform, among them are: Gerard Joling, Dries Roelvink, Wolter Kroes, Gebroeders Ko and Jody Bernal.

Kane drummer stops...

Martijn Bosman

- February 28 2007 - (Novum) - Martijn Bosman, Kane drummer, decided to leave the band. He wrote on Kane's website: After 5 years it's time to say goodbye and explore new things. Doing different things and learning new ones. Sometimes you got to take a turn to keep moving.

The 40-year old drummer from Haarlem played with Gotcha!, Beeswamp, Ro & Paradise and De Raggende Manne. Furthermore he did some recording work for Albums from Guus Meeuwis and Trijntje Oosterhuis.

Big concert Eindhoven...

- February 22 2007 - Within Temptation will give a special concert in Eindhoven in November 2007. It will be a spectacular concert, according to the band members. Ruud Jolie, one of the bands guitarists stated: It will be as spectacular as the concert on "Java Eiland" Amsterdam 2005. A precise date or location couldn't be given. It's also not clear at this point if there will be a CD or DVD recording taken from this concert.

- February 07 2007 - Monitoring will be done with a Digico D1, F.O.H on a Digico D5.
European tour starts March 14 in The Milkyway in Amsterdam, a week after that they will leave for Portugal, Spain, France, Italy, Austria, Germany, Switserland and Belgium.
They'll return to Holland for Paaspop in Schijndel.
Then of to Great Brittain, a second stop in Germany and heading north. Denmark Sweden and Finland will be visited before a second visit to France.

The band was founded in 1992 and their success is still growing.
Besides being musicians they are also known for organizing events.

Opening Tour 2007

- February 07 2007 - Four years after their final concert in the Amsterdam Arena, they came back together for a one time only concert. The so called "Fryske Music Night" on 10 November 2006 was a great success

As a result the band decided to play again every once and a while. Their First concert is planned in De Pompstee in Roden. For this Kick off concert are only 1200 tickets available.

Decisions were made to play limited on festivals private parties and special events.

De Kast were very popular with Dutch and native language hit singles like: In Nije Dei, Hart van mijn Gevoel, Eltse Grins Foarby, Woorden Zonder Woorden, In de Wolken and Raak.

- February 06 2007 - Within Temptation, the gothic rock band who won the Export award for the fourth time in a row, hope that next year another band will win the price.
Singer Sharon den Adel said so on the annual award gala.
"It would mean that the Dutch music industry is doing well."
Nevertheless she was again very happy.

Daughter for Di-rect singer Tim...

- February 04 2007 - Tim Akkerman, Di-rect's singer, became a first time dad. The baby girl was named Lila.
Both mother Stefani and daughter Lila are doing fine. Tim and his girlfriend will marry later this year.

Recently the rock quartet from The Hague was the first band worldwide to give a concert at the same time live on TV and in Second live on the internet.

Di-rect is currently touring throughout the theaters, pictures can be found on their website.
