Kane changes course...
- October 09 2007 -

Dinand Woesthof
Kane changes recordlabel. After being at Sony/BMG for years, the band moves to Universal Music. Their fourth album, worktitle 'Kane 4', will also differ from the previous ones.
Singer Dinand Woesthoff appreciated the Sony/BMG collaberation, but thinks it was time to let go and focus on new things. Recordings for the new album will be made in New York and Los Angeles. Kane's previous cd 'Fearless' came out in 2005 and sold double platinum with hits like 'Dreamer', 'Something to say' and 'Fearless'.
I.O.S. free music download...
- October 01 2007 -

I.O.S.
Is Ook Schitterend (I.O.S.) give their concert visitors free music. At entrance,
visitors will be given an empty album sleeve with a code. Within 24 hours the
concert, you were witnessing, will be available for you to download.
I.O.S. Lead singer Joost Marsman said that it's not a way to promote illegal
downloading, he thinks this way bootlegging isn't interesting anymore because
of the poor quality plus the band wants to share their music with as many people
as possible.
Is Ook Schitterend is not the first artist who directly offer music on the internet. George Michael said a few years ago he would spread his music on the internet in the future. David Bowie was in David Bowie already did in 1996 with the single 'Telling lies'.
